Liz was feeling guite sick to her stomach as she walked down the hopsital corridor on her way to Emma's room. She had finally decided, with the help of Dietrich, that she needed to see the woman who was still, according to law, her wife. Dietrich was being beyond understanding as supportive. That actually made going to see Emma harder, though he wouldn't have understood that. Liz knew, deep down, that Emma wasn't going to go anywhere this time. She just knew that. Because, despite the terrible thing Emma had done, Liz still knew her, deep down. And eventually, Liz was going to have to choose what she was going to do about that.

Perhaps the most frustrating dream to have, was a dream where you received no clues at all. At least that was Peter's view on things. He saw terribly disturbing things in his dreams. Demons and Templar torturing people...or himself. Bodies twisted into unnatural positions to mock God. Rivers of blood. London burning. And the occasional dancing penguin, though so far he was glad that that one hadn't come true, though he would be much happier if none of them had come to pass.

When Liz arrived at Peter's in the morning, she was careful not to slam the door open, lest she disturb another one of Peter's family members who happened to be in the vicinity. Or Gavin, who still didn't like loud noises... She actually found Peter, however, just on the other side of the door, reaching for his jacket. He jumped a little and turned to look at Liz with wide eyes. "H...hello. I was just coming to see you." He said, looking sheepish, as he damn well should.

Dietrich and Devon arrived at the Kemp Manor after Dietrich had picked Devon up from school. She was still in her school uniform, but that didn't matter because it just meant she matched Zoe. Once they were admitted, Devon flounced up the stairs and into Johan and Werner's room, wrapping her arms around a rather stunned Johan before he even had the chance to turn around. "HI!" She chirped and Johan chuckled.

Not...exactly what she meant there... )

Johan was combing through the library in Klaus' old office, with Liz's permission of course. He was fascinated by all the law books that lined the walls. It was like they had a book for everything. "Hey look. Educational law..." He read out to Werner who, being a librarian, looked like he was in seventh heaven.

Peter was sitting in his room with Baby Thomas in his lap. He was also researching the Great Fire of London, because even though the fire he'd seen in his dream was obviously meant to happen now and now 1666, he thought there might be something in there he was supposed to get. Names, dates, places...sometimes the dreams were obscure like that. While he read, he bounced Thomas in his lap while the baby made excited, happy noises. "Eugh. Burned alive!? I mean..." Peter looked down at his infant son. "Cuddled alive. That's what I meant... Oh bugger it, you didn't understand anyway, right?"

Peter let himself into his childhood home as Hope ran past him out of it. "Er...bye!" He called to her and he chuckled as she simply waved at him over her shoulder and ducked into a taxi at the end of the long drive. Peter stepped into the two story entrance hall and he looked up to the second floor beyond the railing where the painting of Hope hung. The painting that Fiona had made Liz and Emma for their wedding... "Liz?" Peter called, shrugging off his jacket. The manor house was large, and it was possible she wouldn't hear him, especially if she was on the third floor, or out in the conservatory. As it happened, however, she was just off to the left in their father's old office.

Peter had been on the phone trying to track down Saul in Rome...which was not an easy thing, even with Gavin and Rolf's help. He'd spent so much time immersed in his own frantic little world, that the knock at the door made him answer the phone and shout, "hello!?" into it before he realised he may be going slightly mad. And it was cold outside and he should let his visitor in.
