Johan was combing through the library in Klaus' old office, with Liz's permission of course. He was fascinated by all the law books that lined the walls. It was like they had a book for everything. "Hey look. Educational law..." He read out to Werner who, being a librarian, looked like he was in seventh heaven.

"Does it say 'Rule number one, don't be a snot to your teacher'?"

Johan snorted and he snapped the book closed. "I don't know, the intro had long words and I got bored."

"Is there a room like this in the house you grew up in?" Werner asked, taking a seat and Klaus' big desk. Werner was in awe of how large this house was, and knowing it was the vacation house and that the house Johan had grown up in was likely ten times the size of this time...that was intimidating. And fascinating. Sometimes he forgot where Johan had come from, and it was very odd to see him in this environment. Especially since he wasn't hating it!

"Oh yes. Quite large and filled with white supremacist literature." He said, replacing the educational law book back on the shelf. "They do have several first editions of things, though. I'm sure you would drool all over them, Lon Cheney Jr."

"I'd drool all over Lon Cheney Jr too!" Werner said with a laugh.

"You have a penchant for the grotesque..." Johan informed him with a raised eyebrow.

"Which explains why I'm with you!"

"Hah! Well said! Oh, hello. What is A Little Princess doing in here?" Johan pulled it off the shelf and several photographs fell out of the book. Werner stooped to pick them up. His eyes widened as he stared at the photos. "Oh my god. Porn. This is porn in a children's book!"

"What?!" Johan grabbed the pictures out of Werner's hand and his face twisted with disgust. "Ew! That's Klaus!"

"Who?"

"My cousin Klaus. Liz and Peter's father." Johan turned his head sideways. "And I have no clue who that is..." He added, grimacing. He put the pictures facedown on Klaus' desk. "Well! Now we know why Klaus chose to stay here in London!"

"Because he was a great nancy like us?" Werner asked with a smirk. "And apparently he had a sense of humour." He pointed to A Little Princess with a giggle.

"He hid it well, believe me." Johan muttered, glancing around the office.

"He probably had to. Not everyone is willing to give up money for freedom. Some people are too shallow for that."

"And I'm oh so deep, Baby!" Johan wiggled his eyebrows. "It's the tortured artist thing. Well. You learn something new everyday, don't you? We should show Liz..."

Werner nodded in agreement and then his stomach gave a rather piteous and desperate growl. "Oh goodness."

"I think you have a wolf in there..." Johan gave Werner a funny look.

"I'm starving." Werner frowned.

"We just had lunch-"

Werner cut Johan off before he could add his 'but'. "I'm hungry again, dammit!" Werner yelled, his eyes flashing with sudden anger.

Johan blinked and he took a step back, but he wasn't easily intimidated. He was, however, worried. Werner was not an aggressive man. He wasn't even an aggressive wolf...not anymore. And so that kind of outburst was completely out of place. "Alright! Calm down, Werner. We'll get you something else to eat. Trash compactor."

Werner just stared at Johan in disbelief. "I'm sorry! I don't know why I-"

"Maybe your blood sugar is just low." Johan suggested. He didn't fear Werner or his lycanthropy. He reached for his lover's hand and he smiled. "Come on."

"Yeah...that must be it."

While Werner and Johan were in the kitchen, they heard a shout from the library. "Oh...OH NO!" Werner dropped his sandwich to the table and both of them raced into the library to find Liz holding the pictures of her father and the other man.

"Liz?" Johan asked, approaching her slowly.

"Dear god, no one should be photographed at this angle!" Liz said, quickly putting the pictures back down. "And that's my Uncle Gabriel! My mother's brother..." She added, when Werner gave her a shocked look. Though that only made it slightly less weird. At least it wasn't all...illegal. "I came looking for you and I found them."

"They were on the shelf in a copy of A Little Princess. We were going to show you, but Werner needed a play snack. Are you alright?" Johan asked, concern in his eyes.

"About those?! I think they're brilliant. I wish I hadn't seen them... Bleh. I wonder if mum knew..." Someone should ask Lavannah. Carefully... "Oh god, I wonder if Aunt Jane knows! All those nights spent together at the smoking club!! Oh god. My daddy was a closet gay man." Liz looked at both of them. "Oh GOD!! I ended up like him after all! DAMMIT!"

Johan looked positively gleeful, though he would never be able to explain exactly why, using words. Only music.
