By the time Peter, Tasha and Anna approached the house at 137 Prince Albert Road, it was already quite full. Flynn was sitting on Quinn's lap, Stuart and Abby were in the kitchen arguing over silly things and swatting each other with ladles. Jax was visiting too, and Thomas was reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone aloud to Mara as she snuggled up against Spectre on the sofa.

A walk with Peter sounded like a good distraction. Dylan had gone to school and Vince was still asleep on her guest room sofa...Deirdre was more than a little worried about his mental stability...and Peter was always calming. For the most part. When he knocked on the door, Deirdre slipped outside and she took one of his hands in hers. They turned and walked, not saying a word. Deirdre let Peter lead the way. He seemed to know where he was going. Deirdre hadn't realised he'd had a specific purpose in mind when he'd asked her on a walk, but now she realised it was Peter and she really should have known.

Everyone had sat down to a lovely dinner after the wedding. Deirdre had taken her place up at the table with the rest of the wedding party. She'd listened through Thomas's Best Man toast, which was much the same as the speech he'd given Peter in the change room. She'd eaten the food she and Jacinta had so carefully prepared and then she'd snuck off somewhere with Pierre and Kait hot on her heels. Kat saw them go and she followed a few minutes later.

It was a surprise and no one had told Peter. Ethereal Facade had decided to play for his reception and with the dinner over, it was time. Everything had been set up beforehand and so the lights dimmed and the curtain fell and Deirdre grinned widely. She took hold of her mic and waited for Pierre to announce them. It was time for people to dance!

Everything was done, everything was ready save for the last minute dressing. Oh and Peter. He was busy hyperventilating in the corner as he tried not to think about the next few hours. He'd been the celebrant at weddings before. Countless weddings. He'd never been a groom. He never thought he'd ever be a groom. Marriage he could do. A wedding terrified him and he couldn't explain why.

Thomas bounced into the dressing room with a gigantic grin on his face and he gave all the men manly punches in their arms and pats on their backs as he made his way to Peter. He embraced his best friend, crushing the orange blossom in his lapel. "Oh fuck! I smooshed your tiny posy."

Peter woke in the morning, Thomas was curled up into a little Thomasball beside him. Peter chuckled and he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He slid out of bed and he tucked the blankets around Thomas again. He wanted a shower badly, he was hungry, and his head was throbbing something fierce, but there was something he had to do. He needed to talk to his family. It seemed like the thing to do after a demon attack.

Alexei had dragged himself out of bed some ten minutes ago and gradually gotten himself into a state vaguely resembling humanity. Teeth clean (must remember to buy a new toothbrush), hair presentable, clothes present... a random selection of rings and necklaces, a touch of eyeliner to replace what had been rubbed off on his pillow, and he was more or less ready to face the outside world as it existed in the early afternoon. With a grunt of exertion, he managed to heave the dirty window open and hang himself out of it, waiting for the alledgedly brightly-dressed form of Kait to appear...

Renee was sitting on her bed, bag packed and ready to go, when the door to her room opened at 10 am sharp with Doctor Rheinegold's usual eccentric knock. He was beaming as he stepped through the door. "Today's your big day, Renee."

Pierre stepped off the chunnel train, dragging two heavy suitcases behind him. Like last time, the arrival was pretty anticlimactic. The first time, he had expected to step off the train and smell some sort of majestic scent that he could forever label as England. Instead, he just got exactly the same bloody train station smell. Except a little more damp and unpleasant.

They had managed to leave the Cauldren without any further interaction with Marcel. Unsurprisingly, he had not followed them out onto the street. To start with, Renee had cradled Kait in her arms, ensuring that the other girl was alright after her digestive pyrotechnics. After a while, Kait pulled away from Renee, smiling to show that everything really was alright.

"I am capable of standing on my own two feet," Kait said with a rueful smile, still holding on to Renee's hand. She didn't think they had really let go for more than the few moments when Kait had run out of the shop since Renee had grabbed her hand for support while in front of Marcel. "But thank you. I honestly don't know what I would have done without you back there."

Together they walked for a way, holding hands and smiling at one another every so often. To anyone who had used to know them, it would have very much appeared that the ex girlfriends were indeed still an item.

"So, back to my place then?" Kait asked, a little unsure. The last time there had been anything magical happening around them, it had been the other way with Kait thinking that Renee was over using and ending in Renee leaving Kait's home )
