Apparently 'I'm not a social worker' and 'I don't have time' meant nothing when Paul pulled the 'look'. Abby didn't think it was fair that just because one of her friends had been skewered in the midst of rescuing her boss' daughter, that suddenly meant he could get away with anything. What about her?! She had been battle fodder far more times than bloody Paul. She'd been slammed into walls and shot in the neck and yet here she was in her office on a Monday night, looking over a case file Paul had thrown together in two hours because he needed a 'favour'.

Abby through her pencil across her office and it sailed past Stuart as he walked in. "Glad I didn't come in here three seconds earlier," he muttered, blinking at her. Then he bent to retrieve the pencil which had clattered to his feet after hitting the wall so perfectly on the point that the lead had broken off and flown to a location unknown, it's fate to be decided by a future vacuum cleaner. "I might have lost an eye."

Stuart had never thought of himself as a family man while he had been a monk. He hadn't grown up with his own family, as his parents had died in a car accident when he was about six years old. He had lived in a series of foster homes, always without incident. And then finally he had resided in a church run children's home, which had been a comfortable and warm place; the complete antithesis of the horror stories so often associated with institutions like it. Stuart had had an easy and happy childhood, despite having the odds stacked against him, but he had never assumed he would then pass that on to children of his own.

Peter had a lot of commitments. He had a family he had to be there for. A family which consisted of seven children. He had a wife who needed a lot of care and love at the moment, though he always tried to spend a lot of time with her. He had friends he liked to give time to. And he had his job, which was really less of a job and more of a calling, considering he didn't have standard hours, nor did he get paid.

When Peter woke up, he felt monumentally stupid. He had sat there in the midst of Thomas' hypnotism and listened to Thomas speak about a girl who turned on lights with her mind and just happened to slip out of her chains, and still Peter didn't equate it with the dream he had had of the girl in the middle of a whirlwind of debris, until he had dreamt of the girl again.

Stuart loved Peter's game room. A room dedicated to games? How wonderful was that!? In fact, he was having quite the time of his life staying at Peter's house. Not that his own house wasn't wonderful, and it had a studio, but Stuart was only good at chanting and he didn't think Spectre would appreciate him stealing the studio to record creepy church music.

Now that Jesus Christ, Superstar was running, there wasn't much for Thomas to do until the next show, which thankfully was not a musical. He'd been hired to help out with set building and carrying things back and forth, but as far as running the show was concerned, that was dealt with and as he couldn't sing, it counted him out for that show at least. Which meant he had a lot of time on his hands, which was for the best, really, since Thomas found he wanted to spend all his time with James and Spectre.

Peter wasn't too proud to admit that he was hiding. In fact, he was quite open about it and everyone at the hospital, meaning Rolf, Katia, Abby and Stuart knew that Peter was in his office studying because he didn't want to be at home studying. Why? Because Lydia was at home. And lately, whenever Lydia was at home and Peter was at home, Lydia either ignored Peter in the loud way where it's obvious you're being ignored. Or she yelled. Which was also rather loud. And Peter wasn't particularly fond of any of it.
