Upon hearing of Carly Malec's situation, Serenity had done everything she could to try to make it so Carly could come work at Mariposa. They did have an employee leaving, but not for a few weeks. She figured if she switched some shifts around she could fit Carly in ASAP.

She texted Carly and asked her to come into Mariposa for a meeting. Sure, Serenity was already pretty decided, but she had to at least pretend to do the official thing. When Carly arrived Serenity told her to order whatever she wanted on the house and then she led her back to a more private booth.

"How are you doing today?" Serenity asked, trying not to give the girl a worried once-over.
Razvan had come home and headed straight for his room which usually meant he was annoyed and didn't want to talk to anyone. The exception to the rule always seemed to be Serenity. For some reason, Razvan, who never let himself be vulnerable with anyone else, let himself be vulnerable with her. And Serenity certainly wasn't going to knock that. She liked him too much.

Serenity sat in the octagonal library of her converted-church home. She was humming tunes to herself and scribbling notes on a page in front of her. The library had better acoustics than the room with the piano in it, so it was better for writing, even if she didn't have a piano to try her melodies out on.

Things had been quiet on the band front as Spectre focused on his other projects for a little while. Serenity had two songs on their upcoming album and she was happy with that.

Personally, things were quiet as well, but that was exactly how she wanted them. Her sister was still living in what was supposed to be Serenity's room, but sharing with Leon had brought her even closer to him.

Serenity had never thought she would actually have a real relationship after Jason. He had broken her so thoroughly and she hadn't known she was capable of the kind of love she felt for Leon. Even more, she hadn't known she could trust someone again, but she did.

As she pencilled in more notes, she smiled and scribbled a title at the top of the page. Later, when Leon returned home, Serenity would play the song for him. Then she would inform him it was his song and it was about how he made her feel. She hoped he liked it.

Noah had rarely felt such rage, but when his beloved Serenity told him her band's possible new label had said she needed to lose weight, he turned so red Serenity actually thought he was going to burst into flames. "Noah?" she asked worriedly, chewing on her lip. "Uh...are you alright there?"

Serenity was still not over having seen Peter haemorrhage and die in front of her, but she was handling it in the best way she knew how. Playing lots of angry music and painting pictures she wouldn't have shown to her mothers. And then she had received some rather traumatising news from Spectre, regarding her spot in the band if they had to change labels due to the album's late release Then she went in search of something slightly sinister, even if she did trust him completely.

She went in search of Razvan.

Peter’s brain was a tricky thing. After the trauma of two malignant brain tumours, the visions which had once come to him while he was dreaming now came to him during the day as well. They could happen at any time, anywhere, and to varying degrees of intensity. While seers all experienced waking visions differently, Peter’s visions often knocked him off his feet. They were the reason he didn’t drive and had been told to take medication to lessen the seizures, though he usually didn't. To the unknowing individual, Peter Kemp appeared to have epilepsy which resulted in only tonic clonic seizures. To the people who knew about his ability, they knew his seizures brought more than just pain. They knew the reason he didn’t always take his medication. If he had the chance to have a vision and save someone, he was going to take that chance.

Flynn entered Spectre's hospital room to find his angelic best friend dozing. The angel didn't sleep soundly, however, and his recent experiences had made it even less easy for him to stay asleep. His eyes snapped open, but when he caught sight of Flynn, he relaxed. "Hi, Flynn," he said, his voice crackling from sleep.

By the time Razvan arrived back from the hospital that had once been his home, Serenity had been calmed and appropriately anesthetised by Leon. Razvan found her in his room, sitting on his bed, her knees drawn up to her chest with her arms wrapped around her legs. "Are you okay?" he asked before he had even shut his door. Which he did then, and he propped his hat over the doorknob before running his fingers through his hair to smooth it. She was watching him, a strange and almost accusing look on her face. "Heh. You didn't know your ex-lover was a demon, did you?"

Serenity hadn't seen him follow her. She had been at Ben's, hearing all about Daria from Noah and receiving some fatherly affection. She wasn't aware that Jason had been watching the house. It hadn't occurred to her to worry about such a thing. Why would he go to such lengths? She didn't understand he had something inside of him which would make him go to those lengths. To her, he was just a boy who had treated her badly and nothing more.

Lavinia arrived in Georgia on the band's day off. She had never before been to the United States or even outside of the UK before except for her week-long honeymoon with her first husband which she had spent in Paris. When she had married Bernard, he had decided to take her to the coast for a weekend and then he had to return to work. Lavinia could kick herself now for not realising he was a dropkick, but hindsight was twenty-twenty and after seventy-five years, Lavinia had a lot of it. Today, she intended on passing some on.
