Uncle (Danny, Greg, Rachel, Cai, Zoe, Dylan, Deirdre)

It was Danny's first time out since he'd been at Priory and before then he wasn't exactly hitting the town every night. The trip to Robert MacGavillary Memorial Hospital felt strange and by the time they arrived, Danny was just glad to be inside again.

Having arrived early, Danny sat in the waiting room, willing his friends to show up soon. He couldn't get his mind off what he was about to do. He hadn't told any of his friends his plan because he knew they would stop him. It involved getting closer to Greg than he ever hoped to be again, and just the thought of it was weighing on him. He hoped it would work out and he could get the information he needed. Without it, this was all going to be for nothing.

Danny could hear Rachel rush in to protect him even after he slammed his hands over his ears to give himself a few moments to just breathe. She's been so brave and to hear her say things like that makes him so proud.

"Who the fuck are you?" Greg growled, eyes narrowing at Rachel. "You're no one. I found Danny after ten years, I'll do it again and I'll take him so far away no one will ever find him again."

Danny whimpered, moving closer to his brother when his hands over his ears don't block out the threat. Cai was strong, right? He had strong arms? Cai was his brother, he could protect him.

"Did he tell you how pathetic he was by the end of it?" Greg asked Rachel. "He started asking me to fuck him."

Danny hadn't told anyone about that, and of course it wasn't what it sounded like, but Greg was still technically right. He whimpered again, all of his bravado withered away by Greg's statements. He very nearly moved to cling onto Cai's arm when he remembered he shouldn't.

"You lost before you even knew you were fighting," Greg says triumphantly.
