Not So Happy Birthday (Peter, Open to anyone there, the more the merrier, do whatever!)

The cruise for Peter's birthday was absolutely perfect. Peter loved it. He loved that he got to spend the time with his friends and family and there certainly were a lot of those around tonight... He was thrilled to hear Spectre and Derek Sherinian playing, and Deirdre sang occasionally too. It was wonderful. Even if he had doubled the amount of pain killers he was taking just to numb his stupid aching head. Once he was headache free, he was able to enjoy himself immensely. He had a wonderful chat with Dimitri and Sergei, and he laughed as Tasha danced with Hope and Fiona all at once. He danced with Aly too. And then with his daughters all in turn. Even Caleb wanted to dance, but only so he could stand on Peter's shoes and get a 'ride'. Lavannah was sitting by the railing chatting with Gavin, though she was watching Johanna with someone else who Peter recognised was Will. Evey kept running up to Will and then darting away again to chat with Deirdre and her girls as well. Every time there was a break in the music, Spectre was followed around by Jacinta and Edward Montgomery, and they proceeded to parent him. He looked oddly pleased. Abigail and Stuart were dancing and looking quite happy. Even Robert looked okay, though he hung back away from the action. Thomas was talking with Mary and Kat who was rolling her daughters back and forth in the stroller as she talked. People were everywhere, dancing and laughing and eating.

And then Peter started to feel a little strange. He excused himself from Aly's presence and he slipped down under the deck into one of the small hallways so he could lean up against the thin wall. It might be that he was just a little motion sick, but the cruise had ended about twenty minutes ago and the boat was now docked. It was gently rocking back and forth, but nothing major. And still Peter felt incredibly dizzy. He put a hand to his head and he crouched down a little, willing himself not to be sick.

Charlotte couldn't have been more thrilled with the party. It included Reina, after all, so what could be better? She introduced herself to the famed ballerina at the earliest possible opportunity, and tried to stay within socialising distance of the woman as much as possible - or in her line of sight when there was dancing to be done. She was used to performing impressive moves to melodic metal, after all, so it was just a matter of course to put on a little show for Reina.

Vince was enjoying dancing with Charlotte and showing off for Reina just as much as she was. He grinned widely and kissed Charlotte on the lips. "She's watching us." He said with a grin.

And she was. And she looked impressed too.

"Of course she is," Charlotte said with a little smile. "We're the lights of the dancefloor." She wrapped one limbre leg right around Vince's waist, then kissed him again. "You know, I'd be having a beautiful time with you even if Reina weren't here."

Vince kissed her back, running his hand down her leg with a grin. "Me too. You're gorgeous." He dipped her back, and she bent back easily, supported by his strong hands.

"Mmmm." Charlotte had to raise her voice a little now, as her head was now back away from Vince. "That's so damn sexy, Vince."

Vince pulled her back up with a roguish grin. "That was the point, milady." He spun her around and then back to him again. "You know what else would be damn sexy?" He asked, though he didn't answer yet.

Charlotte grinned and wiggled her eyebrows. "I can think of a few things actually, and they're all beneath your shirt." Charlotte slid her hands underneath with a mischievous glint in her eyes, just to get a sneak preview.

"You know...I was hoping for underneath my trousers, but shirt is definitely good." Vince said with a shiver. "Especially out here in the open. Mmm, you reckon I'd get in trouble if I did that."

"I don't know!" Charlotte responded with a tinkling laugh. "I think that depends on how much you're getting paid tonight!"

Vince laughed as well. "Well I don't have to do it here." He winked.

"Ooooh, I see," Charlotte answered with a wicked smile, pretending she'd only just gotten where Vince was heading. "Well, I don't think anyone is likely to use the lifeboats now that we're docked..."

Vince bit his lip. He loved that his girl was wicked. "Then, Char? This is your captain speaking. To the lifeboats. We're going down by the helm. This may be our last chance to be together...we'd better make it good."

"Thank goodness you're here to take control of the situation!" Charlotte said with wide, innocent eyes, and wrapped her arms around Vince's neck. She knew when it was her time to be the sub. "I don't know if I can make it... I might need a heroic captain to rescue me."

Vince scooped Charlotte into his arms and he kissed her on the cheek. "I've got you. Don't you worry." And he carried her off to one of the lifeboats so they could have some private and only slightly illegal time together.
