The absolute first thing Peter had done upon returning to London, was visit his family. He hugged and kissed his children and his wife, and he sat down with them while Abby made sure he was okay physically. You could have house calls when you owned a hospital and your friend was a doctor. Peter was beyond relieved to be home and he wanted to curl up with Aly and go to sleep, but there was someone else he needed to visit too.

Being in the room where he'd been when he'd made the decision to settle matters within himself did a fairly good job of pushing that objective back to the forefront of his mind. But having it there just made the air in front of him heavy with words he wasn't yet saying.

He'd come over to Anna and Charlie's, in Charlie's absence. The first DVD that they'd watched came to an end. Ry bit the corner of his lip. It was a very feminine trait, but he wasn't the most feminine of males. He was reassured somewhat when Anna looked across to him, and smiled at him. He smiled back.

She was quieter than her best friend Charlie. He liked that about her, being often a fan of quietness himself. Not that he minded Charlie's bounciness, anymore than he minded it from Renee, Stephie, or Chloe. But it was nice that he could get both quiet and loudness when he came over to Anna and Charlie's.

Before Anna could ask about what movie to watch next, or whether he wanted to watch another one, Ry said to her, "I want to ask you something."

Leaving the shoot sight, Idris packed all of the photography stuff he'd brought along into the car that he'd borrowed from his mum and dad. He'd promised to have it home at a reasonable hour, and he would, after dropping his model off where he wanted, and swinging by the uni to bring some of the equipment he'd borrowed back.

By the time he parked the car and walked in the front door, it was still a very acceptable time. He could hear Cedwyn and Cadell talking loudly about something from the moment he walked in past the door. They were almost fifteen now, well into adolescence. Their bickering should have been normal, was normal, but that wasn't what was on Idris' mind when he heard them.

Fifteen was well enough into adolescence that their family needed to have other considerations. In human development classes in high school, he'd heard enough about mothers warning their daughters of oncoming bleeding. In his family, that had thankfully only happened the once, with Jesstin. She hadn't been able to be here tonight, but Idris had promised his parents he would be. This would be it. The last of their family would be finding out the big old 'family secret' tonight.
