So...this happened (Elijah, David, Siobahn)

While having voices in his head was something Elijah was going to have to get used to, at least he wasn't dead. That was the phrase he kept repeating over and over when it seemed like this whole angel thing was just too much to deal with.

I could be dead. I would have been dead. I'm alive and this is the only reason-

The man he was told took up residence in his head seems kind enough, and given the fact that the man saved his life, Elijah was willing to do whatever the man wanted, within reason. It turned out what the man wanted more than anything is to go visit an ex-girlfriend now that he was no longer banging around inside his sister's brain. And that seemed more than fair enough to Eli.

He had been staying with the Kemps for the past week while he prepared to move back to London, but David knew the way to Siobhan's house by heart. When finally, blessedly they were left alone, Eli snuck out the back door and borrowed Peter's car. David swore up and down Peter wouldn't mind.

By the time he arrived at Siobhan's house, his palms were sweating which was a little unnerving because Elijah wasn't the one who was nervous here. "Cut it out, man," he said before he raised his hand and knocked.

This is not my beautiful wife (Peter, Aly and David)

Thanks to his new treatment, Peter was finding it easier and easier to sleep through the night. For a man who had been struggling with insomnia since the lovely age of 24; nearly half his life ago, sleep had become almost a hated part of said life. The nightly ritual of trying to shut his mind down, only to be awoken if he did happen to get to sleep, by some terrible vision of something happening on the other side of the world that he could not control. Now, sleep was joyful. He looked forward to it, and when he fell asleep, his dreams were no longer disturbed. His visions came during the day, painless and pure, and he was able to help there where he could.

Assault (Peter, Dragonetti, Kemp Family)

Peter's family was feeling the doldrums of the After-Christmas Blues, but it did help to know that they would be jetting off to Valencia in the early hours of the morning. Spain was like a place of solace for all of them. A place where they could relax and enjoy their family. It was especially important now, after the loss of David. Family mattered, and tomorrow they would be literally surrounded by it.

Clash (David, Aly, Brian, Amaris)

There was still so sign of Peter and it distressing the hell out of Aly. She felt the grief of two people; one missing a husband and the other missing a brother and best friend. It was a strange dichotomy of emotion, but it all meant the same thing. They had to find Peter and they had to do it soon.

Hit me! (Peter, Aly, and Razvan)

Peter was glad for the treadmill he had in his office. He still hadn't really spent much time at home, opting to hover around Tasha in a way he was sure was bound to get annoying some day. So far, however, Tasha didn't seem to mind so much. In those moments when Peter did need somewhere else to be, he could sneak off to his spacious office and read or study or run. And right now, he needed to run.

Healing (Peter, Aly, Thomas, Others)

Peter's birthday was, so far, perfect. Thomas and Spectre were seated on the sofa, cuddling with Abby who was mocking Stuart. It wasn't completely clear what Stuart was doing, but as Abby mocked a large percentage of the things he did, it could have been anything. David, his arms full with his young son William, moved over to join them, and he and Thomas broke into a passionate conversation about the theatre and children while their respective spouses looked on, their faces more than fond.

Everyone loves a funeral (Aly, Completely Open to Anyone)

Even as it was happening, Peter's funeral seemed so beyond surreal. The chapel at the hospital was full fit to burst with people who had come to mourn the loss of Peter Kemp. Stuart was officiating and despite his years in the clergy, he found that it was impossible to come up with the right words to say. So instead he borrowed Peter's words, opting to read passages from Peter's journals about the importance of love and family, artfully leaving out all mentions of angels or demons or anything else supernatural. People were allowed to say a few words, and those that were able to got up and shared memories or feelings or thoughts. Deirdre went on for nearly 20 minutes because that's what Deirdre did. No one minded. They were focused on Peter, resting in front of them like he was asleep. He was dressed in the suit he'd been married in to cover up his scars, and his hands were folded lightly across his chest. His first journal rested beneath them. It seemed only fitting that he be interred with it.

After the service, everyone relocated to the mausoleum that Aly had purchased. It was a large stone building with ornate iron work and a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling. And it was theirs now, it belonged to the family. Aly had placed some vases in the corners that had belonged to Louise. Flowers were placed in them, and Peter rested in the middle so people could see him one last time before he was lifted up and slid into his place in the top row. It was very informal, because that's how Peter would have liked it. Aly was hanging back, not yet ready to say goodbye. She let other people see him first. She knew how very important her husband was to...well...everyone. Instead of crowding, she leaned against the outside of the mausoleum, holding baby Thomas who was strangely still, and she cried softly as she stared up at the cloudy sky.

False Sight (Peter, Lavannah, Aly, Open)

When Peter answered the door to Lavannah and David, Lavannah cast her pseudo-father a worried look. Peter had paint on his forehead and in his hair and he looked...for lack of a better word, insane. "Come in!" Peter said, his voice slightly too loud with a manic edge that made Lavannah's spirit guide incredibly uncomfortable. It made sense. Lavannah's spirit guide was Peter's dead mother. And she was worried about her son. Once she and David had been ushered inside, Lavannah glanced around and waited. "Oh right! I could take you upstairs."

RECEPTION (People) Rating: Ethereal Facadey!

Everyone had sat down to a lovely dinner after the wedding. Deirdre had taken her place up at the table with the rest of the wedding party. She'd listened through Thomas's Best Man toast, which was much the same as the speech he'd given Peter in the change room. She'd eaten the food she and Jacinta had so carefully prepared and then she'd snuck off somewhere with Pierre and Kait hot on her heels. Kat saw them go and she followed a few minutes later.

It was a surprise and no one had told Peter. Ethereal Facade had decided to play for his reception and with the dinner over, it was time. Everything had been set up beforehand and so the lights dimmed and the curtain fell and Deirdre grinned widely. She took hold of her mic and waited for Pierre to announce them. It was time for people to dance!

WEDDING! (People) Rating: Weddingy!

Everything was done, everything was ready save for the last minute dressing. Oh and Peter. He was busy hyperventilating in the corner as he tried not to think about the next few hours. He'd been the celebrant at weddings before. Countless weddings. He'd never been a groom. He never thought he'd ever be a groom. Marriage he could do. A wedding terrified him and he couldn't explain why.

Thomas bounced into the dressing room with a gigantic grin on his face and he gave all the men manly punches in their arms and pats on their backs as he made his way to Peter. He embraced his best friend, crushing the orange blossom in his lapel. "Oh fuck! I smooshed your tiny posy."
