Peter wasn't sure now if the person who was holding him was Svetlana or not. What he was sure of, was that he had to escape somehow, no matter who it was. And thankfully he knew the place he was being held like the back of his own hand. He knew there was another way out. Up.

Svetlana had been intending to leave Peter in that damn iron maiden forever. Unfortunately, without Peter, she found her life was rather empty. She had gone to Peter's home to retrieve her daughter, but Rasputina hadn't been there. Aly must have been elsewhere because of Peter's absence. Svetlana was alone and the only person in the world who had been with her for most of her life, was Peter Kemp.

It had taken Svetlana even longer to cross the ocean when she returned to London than when she had left it. She had a purpose in mind this time. She had a goal. A mission. She would find Peter Kemp, and destroy him.

She had spent her time in Iceland quietly and wanted for nothing material. But she was lonely. Lonely and heartbroken and the more the thought about it, the more she realised it really was all Peter Kemp's fault. He had made her think she had belonged and he had made her feel loved and then he had left her. He had abandoned her and taken her daughter while he was at it. That he had done it to protect her was neither here nor there. It had been an excuse.

He had probably called Abel himself.

She was tired and sore, but the minute she landed in London, she went to find Peter where he always was. At his bloody hospital. She found him leaving, heading towards his car. And without even a hello, she snuck up behind him when he slid into the driver's seat and she ripped his soul from his body. Filled to the brim which his ex-angelly goodness, she pushed his body aside and jumped in beside him. And then she drove and drove and drove, thankful for a means of transportation that was not her own wings.
