Svetlana had been intending to leave Peter in that damn iron maiden forever. Unfortunately, without Peter, she found her life was rather empty. She had gone to Peter's home to retrieve her daughter, but Rasputina hadn't been there. Aly must have been elsewhere because of Peter's absence. Svetlana was alone and the only person in the world who had been with her for most of her life, was Peter Kemp.

The iron maiden hulked in the corner of the vast chamber, and Svetlana approached it slowly, remembering how much it had hurt. Remembering the sight of the spikes rushing towards her- Shuddering, she swung the door open and she jumped back when Peter's body tumbled out of the contraption, his clothes stained with dried blood, among other things.

"Wake up, Daddy," Svetlana whispered to him. Slowly she started to circle him, humming to herself as she walked, light-footed, around and around. "Wake up, wake up, Daddy, wake up."

Peter coughed and spluttered and Svetlana watched in fascination as the holes in his skin she could see, magically disappeared. He was gasping for air and then his eyes were open, searching frantically and finally finding. His gaze rested on her, his expression afraid, pain, confused.

"Hi, Daddy," Svetlana cooed. She wiggled her fingers at him. "Did you learn your lesson yet? I am very impatient. I want Rasputina back." A beat went by. "And my fishies."

"Svetlana..." Peter's voice was scratchy and he winced at the pain it caused him to talk. Svetlana crouched down, crossing her arms across her knees.

"You're not well, Daddy."

"Is it really you?" Peter croaked. "Svetlana? Ge...get me out of here. Please. Someone-"

Svetlana blinked at him and she shook her head. "Shh, monk. Shhh. You took my daughter from me and you told that Abel man that I was a terrible person. I heard your words.

Peter's eyes shadowed. He was in pain still. Svetlana liked it. It was awakening something within her. Something dark and dimly remembered. "Svetlana-? I-" Peter stared at her and he shook his head. "I don't remember what I said. But whatever it was, I didn't meant it! If this is you...god, if this is you, you need to get out of here. He'll find you, dammit."

"And why do you care?" Svetlana asked, cocking her head to the side.

"Because I love you!" Peter gritted at her, spit flying from his cracked lips. "Svetlana, I love you!"

Svetlana shook her head. She knew he was lying. "You went back to your angel whore, Monk. If you loved me, you wouldn't have chosen her over me. You lie and you lie and you lie."

Peter closed his eyes and he balled his fists up and he let out a sob. Svetlana watched him and she smiled softly. If he wouldn't give up his lies and her daughter and her fishes, he would pay for it. And oh, he would cry for hours.
