Why couldn't people just mind their own business? Everyone had to get so arced up about Peter getting the tiniest amount of justice, and Peter really didn't think it was fair. He thought it was bollocks. But Aly had left, and sure she'd said it was just to take Caleb to see his grandparents, but Peter could tell she was upset. There was tension in his house and since Thomas wouldn't bloody leave, it looked like it was up to Peter to do the one thing he didn't want to do to stop it from all crashing down around him.
