It was Christmas morning, and Deirdre was still sore that Peter had gone to Spain instead of hosting his normal 'Christmas for everyone' party like he had the previous two years. That party meant so much to Deirdre. It meant everyone had a place to go. He usually threw the party on Christmas Eve, and then Deirdre spent Christmas morning with her mother, and this year both her mother and Peter were gone and she was not happy about it.
