A peice of my mind. Slink and Tasha.

Stephie had spent the night before at Scarlett's, listening and joining in on the rant a bit and being taught the drums by poor Marco who didn't know how to handle upset girls.
So the next morning she made her way, still fuming, round to Tasha's. She banged on the door so hard it hurt her knuckles but she wasn't in the mood for caring about that.
Tasha jumped at the heavy pounding on the door, not so much at the sound, but at the terrible image that exploded in her mind with it. Renee beating on the inside of her own sealed coffin, buried six feet beneath the ground, as the few people left in the world who still supposedly loved her looked on dispassionately...
Tasha gasped as she snapped back to reality. There was no coffin... just the door. Her hands still trembling a little, she made her way downstairs and opened the door...
Stephie drew her hand back and slapped Tasha across the face. "What the hell are you doing?" she yelled angrily. "Saying all these things about Scarlett and the others based on nothing but snatches of conversation you pulled out of your arse! It's absolutely ridiculous, and you're jumping to stupid conclusions without knowing what the fuck you're talking about. You don't-" she made an angry gesture and took a breath- "you don't even know Scarlett and don't have a clue what she's capable of and going behind Renee's back- and these elaborate conspiracy theories you think she's been in on- no! Just no, it's stupid! I know you've known Pierre and Kait longer than I have but I know Scarlett much better than you ever could and if you really cared about Renee you would have at least done a little research before fucking everyone over. And you would have found that your ideas were completely fucking stupid, unless everyone's been right from the start about you and all you really are here for is to make people miserable, and I really really didn't want to believe it, but I guess that makes me stupid too because look what you can do with a handful of out of context comments and an idiot cousin ready to believe the first thing someone she trusts tells her- someone who's claimed to come all the way from Russia to help her get back on her feet and what do you do? Argh!" Stephie paused for another breath, and shook her hand a little because it was smarting. She hadn't intended on slapping the girl, it had just happened.
Tasha's hand rose to her face in surprise where Slink had slapped her. It came as such a shock that much of what she said simply washed over her. She got the gist, but the specific words. There was blood in her mouth, just a little... she must have bitten herself when Slink hit her. She spat the blood into the lawn, and closed the door behind her.
"If you wanted it rougher, you could have just asked," she said, wiping her stained lips with the back of her hand. "And watch who you call an idiot. Renee's only fault was being blinded by her love for those three, misplaced as it was. You're welcome to your opinion, but I don't see why you feel the need to tell me about it. I only revealed the truth. Renee didn't have to listen to me if she didn't want to. But part of her already knew, I can tell. That's why I can feel justified in what I did."
Slink's fury had sparked passion, anger and protectiveness in Tasha all at once. The fact that Slink had the balls to just come over to her house and hit her made Tasha respect her even more, which in turn made her want to jump the girl right here. She'd called Renee an idiot... and that made her angry. She could hit Slink back and not feel bad for it... why was she holding back?
Probably because Slink wasn't really angry at Renee. It was aimed squarely at Tasha. So Tasha faced it head-on...
"You really believe you're right, don't you?" Stephie exclaimed, amazed. "God, how? It's so fucked up! Scarlett- Pierre, honestly? And," she added, taking a step towards Tasha and sneering. "Renee really is an idiot if she's throwing away three of her closest friends just because you don't like them."
"If it was about me not liking them, she would have thrown Kait and Pierre away a long time ago. This isn't about me at all, Slink. I don't know what the Hell makes you think it is. I didn't even have an opinion of Scarlett until I saw the things she said about Renee. And I did warn you about that sort of thing," she finished darkly, her hand clenching by her side. One more unkind word about Renee, and she would hit Slink back, lover or no. And then it would most definitely be on...
"You didn't like Scarlett because Renee liked her more than she could ever like you! You couldn't handle that there was something between them they you could never possibly have!" Stephie's fists were shaking, her nails digging hard into her palms. She couldn't think properly, she couldn't even think about what she was saying till it was well out of her mouth.
"Oh, really?" Tasha narrowed her eyes, but her mind was also ready to pounce. Maybe if Slink got worked up enough, she'd let some useful information about Scarlett slip out. "And what exactly did they have, Slink? Please, enlighten me."
Stephie sneered again. "See? You don't even know. How can you judge them if you don't even know?"
"I know what I saw. Scarlett thought Renee was mad. She was afraid. Maybe she could have helped Renee if she hadn't been such a little coward. Renee loved her, so of course she clung to her. So when Scarlett found she couldn't run away, she had Renee locked up instead. It's really quite simple when you're not too blinded by those big, innocent eyes of hers to see."
"Scarlett is NOT a coward!" Stephie screamed, shoving Tasha back into the door.
Tasha grunted at the impact and launched herself back at Slink, her fist flying towards the girl's face.
Stephie stumbled back with the force of Tasha's fist on impact, but kept her balance and flung herself back at Tasha. She wrapping her hands in the girl's hair and twisting round, pulling Tasha towards her then using her weight to shove her to the ground.
Tasha snarled in fury as Slink brought them both to the ground, the impact shuddering through her spine. She only just managed not to bash her head against the ground, and grappled hard with Slink. She was so strong...
And she loved it. Gripping Slink hard, she leaned her face up and pressed her lips roughly up against hers.
Stephie froze in shock, unable to quite react just yet. That had been the last think she'd expected.
Tasha wrenched one of her arms out of Slink's grip and wrapped it round her, her hand tangling in Slink's hair and holding her in place so that she couldn't flee. Tasha parted her lips in an effort to deepen the kiss...
Suddenly Tasha's tongue was in her mouth and for a moment Stephie was kissing her back- but no, she couldn't do this. She put her hands on the ground on either side of Tasha's head and shoved herself off, ripping out some of her hair that was still twisted in Tasha's fingers. She stumbled and landed on her butt on Tasha's doorstep, and sat there, stunned. "Fuck you," she muttered, after a moment.
"That was the plan," Tasha smiled, getting to her feet and dusting herself off. She reached out to Slink and offered her a hand.
