Danny reached out to wipe the tears from Rachel's face and then he leaned in to kiss her cheek. "Sorry about the tube," he said then, with a slight grin. "I'm sure it's really sexy, hmm? Want to crawl up beside me? I could move over with some help."
To Cai he smiled again, more than he had used the expression since his uncle had taken him. "I mean, not wonderful but...better. I'm better, though Dr Abby is force feeding me cutesy potatoes."
