"I'm disappointed in you!" Danny yelled out, interrupting Ross before he could finish. "You show up here like you give a fuck, but you ignored me my entire life! You stopped seeing me because it was too hard for you to deal with a kid with problems. Which also meant I didn't see my brother again for years! I don't know if you're here out of guilt or to make yourself look good, but I don't want you here! Fuck off, Ross! Fuck off!"
Ross opened his mouth to protest, but that was when Val arrived with hospital security. "I want him out!" Danny told the security guards. "I want him barred from my room!" And the man was summarily escorted from the room, swearing the entire way.
"Jesus," Danny breathed, sinking back into his pillows. He didn't have energy to spare, and panicking and anger had drained him far more than he could handle. He started to shake there in his bed, his stomach a jumble of nerves.
