By instinct she ducked out of the way of the blow, forgetting that she'd wanted to test his strength. She was pleased that he'd gone to hit her properly though. There was hope for him yet, and Flick thought it showed he understood the importance of this whole thing.
"Good," Flick told him, trying to hold herself still instead of thinking ahead to escapes and offensives. "Remember to keep your jaw set. And watch my body."
