No one touched Danny except her, except Rachel. No one touched Danny except he was the one who had taken her hand today and he was the one with his arm around her. Which made her special to him in a way that she couldn't even begin to understand, so she burst into tears instead.
"Oh," said Zoe, as Rachel started to cry into Danny's shoulder. "Oh dear."
