Noah watched Daria for a moment and then he turned to kiss Cassandra as she clutched on to him. He could try to forget Pat when he was being climbed on by the twins, but sometimes he remembered that biologically they were related to Patrick Ravensdale and not to him. Sometimes, just sometimes, that made him a little uneasy. Like he might see Pat looking back at him from their eyes one day.
He pushed the thought out of his mind, sure it was only there because of the bone-snapping.
Noah cleared his throat. "I can't understand why someone would do such a thing," he admitted softly. His father had cheated on his mother and Noah honestly couldn't fathom it. He would gladly harm himself before cheating on Daria and he liked himself unharmed. "I don't like...eugh, violence is gross, but I can't say as I blame that woman."
