Chiara was standing nearby, outside the mausoleum rather than inside with the mourners. She'd been in there long enough to understand the atmosphere, without needing to endure it further. Peter had been her friend, but not a particularly close one. She'd have wept for the loss of Thomas, perhaps, but he was already dead, and they got to spend plenty of time with him. Presumably, Peter would be back too when he was needed. The threat of the Templar practically demanded it.
Still, Peter's funeral deserved documentation, and she raised her camera to take a shot of the mausoleum. It was beautifully composed, with the young man and woman standing outside, embracing. The woman was Peter's adopted daughter, Tasha. That one shot, the building that housed the dead and the mourning man and woman, summed up the event perfectly. Chiara stowed her camera back in her bag, and gave Ryn a weak smile as he approached her.
