When Peter had returned home, he had been informed that Aly had gone out to a club with her friend Bria. Peter had been glad to hear it. Aly was only thirty-one and she hadn't really gotten to experience what it was like to be a young adult, not that Peter had either. But Aly had gotten married to a dying man at twenty, and given birth to their son at twenty-one, three months after her husband had passed away. She had raised her son by herself and lived quietly, focusing only on Caleb. It made Peter happy that she was getting a chance to cut loose and dance.
