All the medical ways to wake Peter up had been tried and nothing had worked. Aly had even tried playing Dream Theater to him, but he remained the same. He was brain dead and there didn't seem to be anything anyone could do about it. She'd spent all night awake with him, reading him entries from his journal to try and get a response. Something. But brain dead people didn't often respond to stories. And eventually the reading was just for herself. She needed to do it to keep herself occupied. She had faltered when she read what he'd written about being buried by the Templar. He kept saying how he'd wanted to die and he'd tried to let go and it hadn't worked. She wondered if that was what he had done. Just let go. Had he meant to? Or was it an accident?
