Peter wasn't in the Templar compound in Rome. Saul didn't know where he was. Aly's husband was missing and she finally has the health and the knowhow to do something about it.
With her children safely in the care of her parents, Aly used her substantial funds to charter a flight to Rome. One that left immediately.
Arriving in Rome, Aly set herself up in the small fortress Ryn had once posessed on the outskirts of the city. David had never set foot there, but he knew of it so it wasn't hard for Aly to find. She took her time looking it over, learning every inch of the space and the amenities. And then she drove the armored van she found in the garage into town and towards the headquarters of the Dead Meat mercenaries.
David advised Aly how to get in to the complex, and she managed it. When she was met by the guards, she simply gave Peter's name and she was told someone would come for her. That someone happened to be Saul, and as he entered the small, dusty waiting room, Aly pounced.
"Thomas said you don't know where my husband is!"
"Whoa...Aly." Saul raised his hands in the air in surrender, hoping it would calm her down. It didn't. "What are you doing here?"
"What are you doing here?!" Aly shrieked. "Counting your fingers and toes! Where is Peter!?"
"Aly, he's not in the compound. If he were, my guys would have heard. We would know. There are other places to look-"
"Then LOOK!" Aly grabbed Saul's jacket. "I want you to find him!" She would not lose her husband too.
"Of course, Aly!" Saul's hands were up as far as the could be, for fear he would crush her. David appreciated it. "You can trust us. We want to find him too. He's my friend, Aly. We're doing our best and we won't give up. Please. We should get you back to London, you shouldn't be here-"
Aly's eyes narrowed and her wings sprang from her back, huge and glowing. They stretched up to the ceiling and she spread them wide, silencing all argument.
"Right. I'll...just show you to your room then?" Saul asked, pointing towards the door.
"That would be perfect, thank you."
