To look at Flynn now, you wouldn't necessarily know the things he'd been through in his life. He was sitting on the floor of the living room, holding the arms of a grinning little James who was standing in front of him, shaking his tiny bum in time to the song Flynn was singing. Which just happened to be Lovecats. Mara was in the background, danging around and playing a plastic bucket with a plastic shovel like a drum. It looked like the happiest little picture on Earth, and Flynn was just fine with it. Flynn certainly did not give off the impression that he was an ex-radical who had then been homeless for six years, and had recently suffered the loss of the only person he had ever been in love with...though that part was probably because he had Quinn back now.

The changes in Flynn had been gradual and they hadn't come easily. But they were there to stay now. Quinn was watching the beautiful scene in the living room, leaning up against the wall so as not to interfere. Flynn was happy and that was more than he could ever ask for. "Can a hungry student interrupt?" Quinn finally asked, because it was too cute not to join in."

Flynn turned around, still holding on to a dancing James. He stopped singing, but he grinned at his lover. "Always." Then his expression changed to one of concern. "Are you really hungry?"

Quinn smiled fondly. It was an old instinct Flynn had to feed Quinn every five minutes. Years ago he hadn't been able to and Quinn had nearly died. Flynn was now prone to over compensating, but Quinn hardly cared. He found it utterly sweet, except when it ran Flynn into debt because he spent all his money on food for Quinn. Which had happened more than once. "It's hardly urgent. I just needed a study break and possibly a snack." He knelt down beside Flynn then and he kissed his cheek. "You are so cute. I just want to make babies with you."

"Dude!" Flynn moved his hands to cover James' ears. James laughed and Mara raised her eyebrows.

"He's going to find out about the sexuality some day you know." She said, matter-of-factly.

Quinn chuckled and he patted Flynn's knee. "She's absolutely right. And I didn't meant right now."

"That's probably for the best as we lack a womb to keep a baby in." Flynn pointed out.

"Ah, foiled again." Quinn reached out and he took little James into his arms. "Hi, little man!"

"Quinn!" James said happily. "Let's have a snack!"

"Yeah!" Mara chimed in.

"That seems unanimous then!" Quinn stood, unwilling to give James up now that he had him in his arms. He really did love kids. And he really did want one like yesterday. "Are you coming, Mal?"

Flynn reached out and he took Mara's hand in his before nodding to Quinn. "Of course. Nowhere else I'd rather be." And it was more than true.
