Now Cai was crying too, and Danny wanted more than anything to hug his brother and assure him everything would be okay, but it wouldn't. Everything was going to suck forever.
"Sorry," he murmured, sniffling. "Cai." Danny tried to inch closer to him, but he was held down pretty tightly. "I can try to be brave," his voice didn't sound brave though, it sounded small and weak.
