She was freaking out harder than he expected about all of this. Danny reached for her hands and he looked up at her worriedly. "Mum, I'm not going to die," he said, leaning up to kiss her cheek. He could see the tears threatening to fall, right behind her eyes. "I'm not going to feel safer if we go to some random place and stay in a hotel surrounded by strangers."
