"Normal doesn't matter to me either," Danny said brightly. He registered that Zoe hadn't mentioned her childhood before, but then again a lot of time was taken up talking about his life or Rachel's. Zoe's didn't get much of a look in.
If she was going to talk about it though, he wasn't going to stop her. "Was it hot there?" he asked, fascinated by it. "And was it like...all casinos? And was it hard to sleep at night because of how bright it was? Sorry...you don't have to answer if you don't want to."
