Zoe listened with interest, even laughing a silent breath of laughter as Danny mentioned the patriarchy. The mention of his uncle threw a damper on that fire, though. "You don't ever need to be sorry about talking," Zoe told him, with a slow shake of her head. "And, you don't have to worry about normal. Normal does not matter to me." Her voice sounded very grim - she could hear that herself. But she wanted him to know she was serious. "I remember kidnapping games as well, you know," she said, a little lighter.
