Zoe looked at him and under the table, Danny nudged her knee lightly right back before turning to Cai. "Yeah, alright," he said with a smile. He wasn't afraid of Cai trying to hurt him and he sort of had a feeling if anyone tried when Zoe was around, they were going to end up crying. "I'll text my mum and tell her. She'll be glad I have friends."
Then, when he realised that made him sound a little pathetic, he blushed and said, "heh-"
