"Not really that small; Deirdre kind of knows everybody," Zoe said, because it was true. Deirdre had her fingers in all the social pies. "Their band's called Spectre, after their guy, whose name is also Spectre," she explained to Rachel, who was looking a little lost. "It's kind of prog-metal. Don't worry," she added, since Rachel looked even more lost. "No one really knows what that means."
