"Oi!" Peter said, turning red again. "I'm going to pretend I have no idea what you could possibly mean there. Troublemaker." Peter smiled at her and then he took Aly's hand back into his again. "And yes, I...it probably was a little ballsy of me. I had to do something..."
Aly leaned against Peter, obviously utterly relieved to be able to do so again. "You did. But I can rip the papers up into confetti, yes?"
"Oh, please do." Peter nodded, kissing Aly's hair.
