Kay had been captive for a couple of days now, and her initial bravery was well and truly broken. She'd been pushed and battered enough to break her down. When more and more people had been thrown in with them, she tried her hardest to keep hope but it wasn't working. When Amaris had thrown Mara in there with them Kay found it harder than ever. At least she'd been able to tell Kay that her own little girl was safe. Carla was more hurt than she was, and that guilt still weighed heavily upon her.
With cracked lips she tried to speak but she didn't have any words to find. Abby was there and the door was open and she could see light again but she knew there was an angel. She kept a tight hold on Carla and Annette, and wondered what was going on.
