Lydia was sitting on the grass, picking blades of it and letting it get carried a short way away on the slight breeze that travelled through the cemetery. She couldn't quite accept nor believe that her daddy was dead. She couldn't bury both her biological parents in the space of three months, could she? It didn't seem fair. None of it did. So many people were crying, but she was not. She couldn't. Because it wasn't real.
