Even after the warnings Susan had given him about their possessive landlord, Flynn knew his fate was sealed. The landlord, Ray, may have said he would help Flynn out if Flynn was short on rent money, but that wouldn't feed him. Flynn was hungry and he needed to make money if he was going to keep eating.
