Deirdre had gone with Spectre and everyone to get Mara back, and Flynn would have gone too, but he didn't fit in the cars, nor did they need him since there wasn't going to be a fight. Just a pickup, thanks for some kid named Bender or something. Flynn didn't really care what his name was, he was going to give that Bender a huge kiss whether he liked it or not. He had saved their Mara.
