It had gotten to the point now, where Peter wasn't sure if it was Anna clinging to him for comfort, or him clinging to Anna because of what had almost happened to his daughter. Abbot Brunhardt had shown up at her school. That absolute arsehole who had done unspeakable things to her while she was in the children's home in Melk. Peter couldn't stand it. Nothing had happened of course, thanks in all to Svetlana who had not only seen to pull the Abbot off of Anna, but she'd ensured that the Abbot would never darken their lives again.
