Oh dear! (Devon, Dietrich, Johan, Werner, Liz)

Dietrich and Devon arrived at the Kemp Manor after Dietrich had picked Devon up from school. She was still in her school uniform, but that didn't matter because it just meant she matched Zoe. Once they were admitted, Devon flounced up the stairs and into Johan and Werner's room, wrapping her arms around a rather stunned Johan before he even had the chance to turn around. "HI!" She chirped and Johan chuckled.

"Hello, dear girl." Johan spun in her arms and he hugged her back. "How was your day?"

"Awes. I'm taking a theatre class. Theatre's my new thing." Devon always had new things...she'd be on to art next month. "And choir. I think that's the one thing that'll always stick."

"Ah, well, music has a way of getting through to our core, doesn't it?" Johan winked at her, tucking her hair behind her ear. She looked so much like Hannelore when her hair was out of her face.

"Yeah, totally!" Devon glanced sideways at Werner, who was smiling up at her from a chair. "Hey, Werner. How's it hangin'?"

"Oh, it's...hangin' in there." Werner winked. "It's good to see you back here and happy, Devon." Werner said, even though he hadn't actually seen Devon in the Dresden Kempf Manor. He'd heard enough to imagine. "You make Johan giddy."

Devon giggled. "Johan should always be giddy! Hey, you guys have to help me." Devon flounced over and collapsed into a chair. "I want my dad to find a girlfriend."

Werner pointed up at Johan. "Ask him, he's always good at finding women." Werner's expression was cheeky, and not hurt in the least. His relationship with Johan was devoted, but open. That was why it worked the way it did.

"Oh, you scoundrel." Johan laughed, and he sat down on the bed. "I don't suppose your father plays the piano, hmm? It's like a chick magnet."

Devon raised her eyebrows. "So much more than I wanted to know about you guys. And dad never had problems in Melk, apparently. He was like...sleeping with everyone. Or so Peter tells me. But that's not what I...I want him to find someone who makes him happy. You know...all the time, not just once. Or twice, whatever."

"Goodness." Johan looked over at Werner. "Does your father want a relationship like that? Is that something he's interested in?"

"I think he does, but he doesn't want to talk to me about it. I think he thinks it might warp my fragile little mind. But whoa okay, my mind is like SO not fragile."

Johan chuckled. No, no it really wasn't. "Well, I suppose we could play The Three Matchmakers. We could always go out on the town tomorrow and see what kind of mischief we can scrounge up."

Devon nodded happily. "Sounds good to me! He's downstairs if you want to see him!"

"I think that sounds like a lovely idea. I could use a cuppa. Feeling up to it, Werner?" Johan stood and he extended a hand to his boyfriend. "I could always bring you back something."

"No, I'll come with you." Werner accepted Johan's hand and he stood slowly. Once he was up though, his movement was not impeded, and they made their way downstairs without difficulty. And then the scene in the kitchen surprised them all.

Liz was standing close to Dietrich. Quite close. And she was giggling. Dietrich had a gigantic grin on his face and the look he gave her was quite...fond, really. "I know, I know, I can't believe they wanted to name their child 'Lou'! I know I wouldn't be naming MY kid after the toilet."

Devon cringed. She was related to Elizabeth, however distantly. Second cousins or something. And sure, Dietrich wasn't because it was on her mother's side...but it was still weird. Her father was flirting with her cousin and he was talking about toilets...

Johan raised his eyebrows and he turned to Devon. "You know...the outing may not be needed afterall..." He said, observing the way Liz laughed and playfully pushed at Dietrich's arm. Which was non-verbal communication for 'oh, you' and not a second of 'get away from me, you toilet-mentioning loony'. Liz was hardly one to cringe at a topic being slightly off-colour...

"What about the kids named Randy?" Liz asked with a nose-wrinkle.

"Actually that's not so bad..." Dietrich said with a cheeky grin, and Liz erupted into gales of laughter again.

"Oh god, it's like watching a dating reality show..." Devon whispered to Johan who looked increasingly amused. Devon cleared her throat and both Liz and Dietrich looked over at her. "Hi, there are other people in the room now."

Liz laughed but Dietrich flushed bright red. "Would you like some tea?" Liz offered, and Devon nodded. "How about you, Dietrich. What do you like to drink?"

As Dietrich rattled off the way he took his coffee, Devon hid her face in her hands. When she said she wanted her father to get a girlfriend, this wasn't entirely what she meant...
