Danny cried like that, safe in Abby's arms for what felt like hours. She held him the entire time, rubbing his back and assuring him he wasn't going to die. When his crying slowly ceased, his head felt too big and he couldn't breathe through his nose.
He leaned back, scrubbing a hand over his face as he tried to compose himself. "I- Sorry. Uhm. Thought I was dying."
"It's okay, Danny," Abby assured him. "I don't mind."
"I actually, uh-" Danny's face twisted and he stood, half stumbling over to the rubbish bin in the corner where he proceeded to vomit. He hadn't eaten anything that day at all, but that didn't stop him from bringing up bile before stumbling away and wiping at his mouth.
"Auuuggghhhh," he groaned, heading back for his chair where a glass of water was pressed into his hands. He drank it down quickly before whispering his thanks to the person who handed it to him, probably Deirdre.
Finally, he looked around at the people he loved, the people who had braved Greg to be here with him. "I'm sorry," he said quietly. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you- Did he, uhm...did he do his brain thing to any of you?" If Greg had, Danny wasn't sure he would be able to forgive himself.
