"Yes - yes - it's okay, Dad's out all day and I don't want to be alone anyway, I don't..." She looked at the bandage on her wrist, stained with yesterdays breakfast, and sweat. "Danny," she said, her voice a little softer and a little more serious. "Can - can you bring your first aid kit? I'm okay now I just... did something stupid."
