"That could be an idea," said Cai, who was worried that Danny drawing his uncle might make him feel worse, but since it was Danny's idea in the first place he wasn't going to go against it. He would have said something if it was Zoe trying to push him into it. "Maybe we could give the police a ring too, just to let them know you might have seen him? If he's changed his name there'll be a paper trail, there always is."

"Is there?" Rachel asked, meekly.

"I think so, unless it's witness protection or something? But that's pretty unlikely," Cai shrugged. "I think alerting the police is a good idea."

"I think we should have followed him," Zoe muttered.
