"Pervs," Rachel giggled, waving at the car on the other side of the gated fence. She took his hand and they made their way down the drive, through the gate in the tall brick wall and climbed into the back seat together.
"How's it, Rach?" Cai asked, giving her a beaming smile in the read view mirror.
"Are you okay?" Zoe asked suspiciously. She'd seen the speed of Rachel's exit out her front door. "You look different."
"Didn't have time to put my face on," Rachel said, leaning over Cai's shoulder to check her face in the mirror. "Oh god you can barely see my eyes," she said. She hadn't been out of the house without eyeliner in ages.
