Davis restrained himself from rubbing his throat; it hadn't hurt that bad, and it didn't need soothing.

She brushed her hands on her shorts which meant her arms were down - Davis shot himself forward and wrapped his arms around her body, pinning her arms to the side. "Ha," he said in triumph, lifting her up off her feet.
