It had taken her a while, but with Mary's help, Svetlana had been able to clear enough of the debris to make a reasonably-sized hole she could get some leverage with. Once that was achieved, she was able to pull down a little more of the ceiling, finally giving them an exit - if a perilous one - they could crawl out of. Luckily for them, even if they fell Svetlana and Mary would both be very difficult to injure. As it was, they made they way up out of the hole without incident, and wasted no time in descending the stairs again to the other side.
"Peter? Thomas?" Svetlana called out, Mary right behind her. Svetlana had the advantage that she could sense Peter's presence, which turned out to be behind a heavy cell door. "How in the hell do they get themselves into these messes?" she muttered, and moved right up to the door. She heard Thomas call out to them then, confirming that he was in there too.
"We're right outside," Mary called back. "Hold on, we'll get this thing open."
Svetlana nodded and took hold of the lock, the metal squealing as she started to twist it.
