Thomas wanted to rail on and on about how Spectre couldn't possibly understand how it felt, but was it really fair to him when he kept saying it was the only thing keeping him sane? And now Thomas's mother was sitting there, watching him like she was seeing him for the first time. "I'm sorry I...I didn't know how to tell people..." Thomas mumbled.

"Seems that way." Thomas sighed and he leaned over to give Spectre a kiss to show he'd heard everything the man had said to him and he appreciated it. "I'm sorry, Mums."
"Sorry!?" Lavinia reached out and she pulled Thomas into what was probably the tightest hug he'd ever received.
"Ack! Mums! Need! To breathe now!" He squeaked.
"I'm sorry!" Lavinia wailed, and she released her grip a little, but she never let him go.
