"Still alive." Flynn commented and he continued to stare at his feet.

Something about Flynn's despondency stirred something in Thomas and he spoke before he realised he was doing it. "Yeah. You are. And you know what? Now you're going to act like it. So are you going to go upstairs and take a shower, or am I going to have to bathe you?" Thomas crossed his arms and he raised his eyebrows.

"....bathe me?" Flynn squeaked.

"We're going to pretend I said that better and go with it, okay?" Thomas nodded.
