"Oh my goodness," Spectre murmured. He frowned as the raised voices reached his ears again, and rose from the bed. He leaned down to kiss Mara's forehead, his hand in her hair. "I'm going to help Quinn see what all this is about. I'm sure it's not dangerous, but I don't want anyone to get upset. We'll be back soon, okay?" Well... Spectre was mostly sure Flynn's parents weren't dangerous. They did have some rather interesting social and political attitudes, he knew. But they probably didn't have what it would take to stand up to Flynn if they decided to cause real trouble, let alone Flynn, Quinn and an angel.
